ALRITE’s Curriculum ALRITE AUTISM FRONTIER PROGRAMME comprises 3 Semesters and 7 Curriculum in each semester.

The early intervention curriculum comprises techniques outlined to serve as a robust framework for educators to engage in holistic development of children with autism integrating:

Module 1 :

Module 2 :

Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy a well-established and evidence-based therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and improving specific behaviors in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

ABA therapy uses principles of behaviorism to promote positive behaviors and reduce undesired behaviors. It is widely regarded as one of the most effective treatments for autism.

Key Features of ABA Therapy:

Behavior Modification:

ABA focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors (such as social skills, communication, and academic skills) and reducing negative behaviors (like aggression, self-harm, or tantrums).

ABA therapy involves the continuous collection of data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed. Therapists monitor behavior and use this data to determine the effectiveness of different strategies.

Each individual with autism is unique, so ABA therapy is tailored to address the specific needs and goals of the person. The therapy plan is customized to enhance skills in areas like language, daily living activities, social interactions, and academic achievement.

ABA therapists use positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors. This may include verbal praise, tokens, or other rewards when the individual demonstrates the desired behavior. Over time, the goal is for the person to perform these behaviors independently.
  • Communication Skills: Improving verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Social Skills: Encouraging appropriate social interactions, such as greetings, sharing, and maintaining eye contact.
  • Academic Skills: Enhancing learning in areas like reading, math, and following instructions.
  • Daily Living Skills: Teaching skills for independence, such as dressing, eating, and managing personal hygiene.

Types of ABA Therapy

Discrete Trial Training (DTT)

This method breaks down skills into small, manageable tasks. Each skill is taught through repeated practice and positive reinforcement.

It often involves a structured environment where the therapist presents a task, waits for a response, and provides reinforcement for the correct answer.

Natural Environment Training (NET)

This approach uses everyday situations to teach skills in a more natural, less structured setting. It’s often more flexible than DTT and allows individuals to practice skills in real-life contexts.

Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT)

Focuses on pivotal areas of a child’s development, such as motivation and self-management. By targeting these key areas, PRT aims to bring about improvements in a wide range of skills.

Verbal Behavior Therapy (VBT):

A form of ABA that emphasizes communication as a way to reduce problem behaviors. It focuses on teaching language through functional communication, such as teaching a child to request items or actions rather than engaging in disruptive behaviors.

Module 3: Amplifying Technology in Autism Education

ALRITE’s Unplugged Coding

Teaching coding to students with autism is a fantastic way to help them develop problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

Learning to code can also be fun and engaging for children. At ALRITE we teach Unplugged coding which is basic programming concepts without using computers or electronic devices.

It’s a great way to introduce children to coding, especially for younger age groups or when you want to focus on problem-solving, logic, and collaboration before moving to screen-based activities. These activities help develop key coding skills like sequencing, patterns, loops, and algorithms in a hands-on, fun way.

Benefits of Unplugged Coding:

ALRITE’s Coding with Robots

Introducing ‘DASH’ Robot and Talamete Robot. Students at ALRITE Learn to code using the robot.

Coding with robots is a fantastic way to engage kids in programming concepts by allowing them to interact with physical robots. Dash Robots provide a hands-on experience that makes coding even more exciting and tangible, as kids can directly see their code come to life. Coding with robots helps kids build problem-solving, logical thinking, and critical thinking skills in a fun and interactive way.

Augmented Reality Curriculum

Dive into the Future of Learning with Augmented Reality! 🌟A  Autism Curriculum with Augmented Reality’

Imagine a classroom where learning comes alive, interactive and  adventures. Welcome to the world of Augmented Reality (AR) in education!

ALRITE’s Augmented Reality Curriculum was developed by Dr Ashwindran Naidu Phd. Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

Augmented Reality  is transforming the way we learn by overlaying digital information onto the real world, making education more engaging and immersive than ever before. Our visual learners are venturing into AR learning from exploring colours, animals, shapes, science and math the possibilities are endless!

Why ALRITE integrated AR into the curriculum?

Enhanced Engagement

Captivate students' attention with interactive and visually stimulating content.

Deeper Understanding

Visualize complex concepts in 3D, making them easier to grasp and remember.

School Readiness Programme

Get Ready for School Success!

The School Readiness Program for children with autism at ALRITE is designed to provide support to prepare them for a smooth transition into formal schooling. The program focuses on enhancing key areas such as communication, social skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing and academics in ways that are tailored to the unique needs of children on the autism spectrum. The goal is to create a supportive and structured environment where children can develop essential skills that will help them succeed in a school setting, fostering independence, confidence, and positive engagement with peers and teachers.

Bridging Programme

Primary School Readiness

AAFP: Trial Class

The Trial Class at ALRITE Autism Centre is an introductory session designed to give both children and their families a first-hand experience of our specialized programs. This class serves as a valuable opportunity for children to engage in activities tailored to their unique needs while providing parents and caregivers with insights into our approach, structure, and learning environment. The Trial Class is an essential step to help determine if our services align with the child’s needs, as well as to assess how the child responds to the environment, structure, and interventions.
